Conny was surprised to find Clara in the state she was in. No... she was furious when she found the cat beastie in that state. Furious at the child? Of course not. How could she be mad at her, who had done nothing wrong, nothing to deserve being in that mode she undoubtedly was forced to be in, or sunk into. No... She was furious at herself, her fellow beasties, and the villagers they were staying with, especially the last group.
