Christine was caught in a no-win discipline situation no matter what she did. On one hand she was being commanded by the computer to proceed to a specific area, and would be increasingly and strongly disciplined for not doing so immediately; yet on the other, her Uniform prevented her from doing just that! It too was administering discipline for breaking the ten foot proximity rule, and in addition, now, she was totally blinded, deafened, and utterly lost as to which direction to proceed. It was a diabolically hopeless situation and there was no escape, unless I permitted it.
