Emma never got close enough to punch Matthew.
Before she could even reach him, a few bodyguards appeared from nowhere, blocking her path.
"Emma?" Matthew looked at her with genuine surprise. "What are you doing here?"
"I can't believe I ever trusted you!" Emma shouted, swinging her fists at the air in frustration. "You're nothing but a coward! A scumbag! A liar! You don't even have the guts to admit what you've done!"
Matthew blinked, momentarily thrown off by her outburst. He looked away, avoiding her gaze. With a quick nod to the guards, he gave a simple command, "Escort her out."
'He's avoiding me,' Emma thought, her anger spiking. 'He's guilty. He knows exactly what he did.' Her fury surged even more at the realization.
