Eun’s POV
“Hoy, Zero!” Anton’s voice tore through the hallway, playful yet loud enough for half the campus to hear. His grin was almost mocking, as if teasing me was his favorite sport.
“Anton, cut it out,” Clarenz said flatly, his patience already thinning.
Anton tilted his head, feigning innocence. “And why should I?”
Clarenz’s gaze hardened. “Because Gaizel cheated on him. Wala na sila.”
“What?!” Anton’s voice cracked through the crowd, eyes wide in disbelief. “You’re telling me Gaizel cheated? On him? My cousin—handsome, rich, smart—pinili niya lokohin?” He let out a bitter laugh. “That’s not just stupid, that’s insane.”
He turned to me, his tone suddenly sharp. “Eunn, you don’t deserve that kind of betrayal. Not from her. Not from anyone.”
“Anton, tama na,” Clarenz warned, his voice edged with steel.
“Fine,” Anton muttered, throwing his hands up in surrender, though his eyes still burned. “Let’s eat. Sagot ko. Just… don’t let her win by breaking you like this, Eunn.”
I stayed silent. Typical Anton—always louder than the pain he was trying to cover.

Flashback – Eun’s POV
“Kahit ngayon lang, Gaizel… please.” My voice cracked as I clutched her hand like it was my lifeline. “Don’t walk away from me. We can fix this. Please.”
Her eyes were cold, unflinching. “Eunn, tapos na tayo. I love Shone.”
The words shattered something inside me. My chest tightened. My knees almost buckled. “Shone…?” The name was poison on my tongue.
In that moment, the ground beneath me felt like it had collapsed. My heart—crushed, torn, humiliated.
And then—
“Ay, gago pala ‘to.”
I froze. I wasn’t the only one who heard it.
A girl stood a few steps away, her hoodie drawn low, a mask concealing most of her face. But her eyes—sharp, defiant—pierced straight through us.
“Hoy, babaeng mukhang ulupong!” she shouted, her voice laced with venom. “Cheater ka pala, ha?!”
Gasps rippled through the hallway. Heads turned. Students leaned in.
Gaizel spun, her face twisting in outrage. “Excuse me?! Ano raw?!”
The girl shifted her gaze to me. Even through her mask, her words struck like lightning. “Ikaw ba si Eunn? Ang pogi mo pa naman—pero nagmamakaawa ka sa cheater? Really? Is that all you think you’re worth?”
The words stabbed deeper than Gaizel’s betrayal.
The girl didn’t stop. She turned back to Gaizel, her tone rising, laced with contempt.
“Hoy, CHEATER! Layas! Hindi ka na nakakahiya—nakakairita ka na!”
Gasps grew louder. Whispers flooded around us.
Gaizel’s jaw dropped. “Anong sabi mo?!”
The girl’s smirk was sharp, dangerous. Even behind the mask, her fire was undeniable.
“You heard me,” she said, her voice low but lethal. “Ulupong. Now get lost before everyone here sees you for what you really are.”
