Over the weekend, Nadine went home, intending to tell her family about Dalton. But the atmosphere felt off. She realized it seemed to start when Dalton won the championship in the math competition and revealed in front of the whole Walker family that Harvey wasn't biologically related. Now, whenever she saw Harvey, it seemed like he forced a smile.
Susan, on the other hand, seemed even more affectionate toward Harvey, as if nothing had happened.
"Hey, busy with schoolwork lately? We're planning a trip to the Maldives with Harvey for a few days. If you're not swamped, you should come with us!" Susan said cheerfully.
