EPISODE TWO

1472 Words
(Two hours later, Cassie and Krishna strolled down the street, enjoying the warm sun on their faces.) Cassie: (laughing) Krishna, how could you do something like that? Now I can't stop laughing! (continues laughing) Krishna: She was so rude, and had this scary makeup on, as if she was acting a witch character in a series or something. Someone had to tell her that her makeup was ugly, bruh! Cassie: But did you really have to tell it to her the way you did? Krishna: Yes, yes, and a big yeeeessssss! Why? Because she was giving me attitude! Cassie: Oooh, I see. The attitude was the cause of everything. Krishna: Exactly. It was not really necessary for her to give me the stupid attitude when her makeup is not even nice. Cassie: (grins) Now I see. (they laugh) (Later that same day, Ainsley is with Claire in Claire's bedroom, eating fries with a very cold cool drink.) Ainsley: Claire, I have more than 3 hours here, and I haven't heard or seen Laura nor Charlton. Where are they? Claire: (looks jealous) Those two... You should know by now that wherever they are, they're not gonna come back anytime soon. It's like Charlton is the head and Laura is a tail; she always follows him. Ainsley: (looks at Claire) If I didn't know you better, I'd say you're jealous that your brother is spending more time with Laura than you. Claire: (sniffles) Who? Me? Jealous? Oh, come on! (she rolls her eyes, then chuckles) Ainsley: (chuckles too) You know, Claire, it's okay to be jealous sometimes. I also become jealous when you call someone your friend. Claire: (looks surprised) Really?! You do? Ainsley: (shows sadness) Because I don't want to be friends with someone else. I only wanna be your best friend, only. I don't wanna share you with anybody else, because you are my only friend, and best friend. Sometimes I feel like kicking their faces for calling you friend, and sometimes I wanna punch you for letting them call you their friend. Claire: (sadly) So sorry, friend. I'll never call anyone other than you friend. Ainsley: (smiles) Promise? Claire: (smiles back) Promise. (they laugh and drink their drinks) (Ainsley continues the conversation.) Ainsley: So... I bumped into Leon at the shop earlier, and he asked about your whereabouts. Claire: (bored) Really... Why does he care? Can't he see I'm not into him? Ainsley: Claire!! You didn't even ask me what he said. Do you hate that poor guy so much? Claire: (shrugs) I don't care what he said, or did, and I don't hate him. I just don't like him. Ainsley: (grins) Claire, what's the opposite of like? Claire: (laughs) Aargh, whatever! I thought you were the one who's into him, then why are you twisting this? Ainsley: (smirks) Because Claire, I can see that he's not really into me, but into you. Claire: (smirks back) Well... bad for him. Tell him I'm not interested in being his one and only, let alone his future wife. Ainsley: (disappointed) WOW, Per...fec...to... (she eats the fries) Claire: (smirks) It's not like Charlton will be happy about this. Ainsley: (defensively) Are you really gonna bring Charlton up? This is not about Charlton; it's about you, you Claire, being happy, being with someone who will make you happy, and stop being jealous of your Lil sis and your bro spending a lot of time together. Claire: (thoughtfully) You know, I think you're right. (she then chews her fries) Ainsley: (smiling) So does this mean you're gonna give him a chance? (smiling and raising her eyebrows) Claire: (firmly) HELL NOOOOOO! Ainsley: (disappointed) ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!? Claire: (calmly) No, no, and NOo. Ainsley: (exasperated) Greaaaaaaaaat! (she drinks her drink) (At night, Leon is with his younger sister Kyra, who is getting ready to sleep, while Leon is busy talking) Leon: You know, I met ..... Kyra:(interrupts) yeah, yeah. Two mysterious girls, not knowing where they live, nor anything about them, yeah I get it Leon, and what did they do today? (she puts her pillow on the wall) Leon: Actually, today I saw one of them, and I finally spoke to her. And at least now, I know they are actually friends, not sisters. Kyra: Really? Leon, that's all you could ask? If they are sisters or friends? What about their names? Leon: (laughs) Yeah... About that... I was about to ask her, and... Kyra: (interrupts) Let me guess: her orders came, and she stormed out like something was chasing her. Great! Leon: (groans) Kind of. Kyra: (sighs) Leon, please do me a favor: next time you come to my room to talk about your mysterious girls, you better be knowing their names, because I'm tired of hearing "mysterious," "strangers," etc. Okay? Now, good night; you can go to your room now. (she covers her face with the blanket) Leon: (sighs heavily) You're not helping, Kyra. Kyra: (from under the blanket) And I'm not intending to. So, bye. Leon: (to himself) Whatever. Night. (he leaves the room. (The next day, as Jessica walks towards the shop, she meets Stephenie) Jessica: (groans, crosses her arms, then smiles) Don't you think you should give me some space? Stephenie: (looks around, then looks at Jessica and frowns) Excuse me? This is a public space, so if you need space, I think you should go somewhere that's private. Does that make sense? Jessica: (stammers) If I didn't know you... (pauses, then continues) Yeah, there it is... I'll say you're stalking me, but then unfortunately, I do know you, which means you're doing this on purpose. You're looking for a reason to talk to me, which I despise more than you can think. Stephenie: (chuckles, then clears her throat) Jessica... (she leans in and laughs) Do you really think I like seeing your face? Let alone hearing your voice? No, darling, I sure as hell don't even want to. But unfortunately, I'll keep seeing you since we're living in the same place. Perhaps you will get used to that, as I already have. Jessica: (shouts in anger) Oh, living in the same place is the problem here, I see. Someone got to disappear from this place, and that won't be me, which means it will be (she does a drumroll with her voice, then speaks) you! Stephenie: (also shouting, as she follows Jessica) Jessica, always find a reason to fight. That's what you're known for in this place! Jessica: (shouts back) Seems like you're obsessed with me! Why don't you just take a picture of me, so you can stop following me? But instead, stare at my picture! (she grins) Better idea, isn't it? Stephenie: (chuckles) You're full of yourself, Jessica. So now I can't buy and go home because of you? You are crazy, Jessica! Actually, you're a psycho! You're mentally ill! You really need help! (she leaves Jessica alone, looking frowned) Jessica: (frowns and mocks her) Whatever! (she clicks her tongue) (It's early Monday morning. Laura is preparing for school when she receives a call from Kyra.) Laura: (answers the call) Good morning, how's the morning, and what did I do to receive a call from you this early? Kyra: (chuckles) Oh, hello. Can't I call my friend again without a reason? The morning is fantabulous. I was just checking if you woke up, Laura. Laura: (laughs) Look who's saying that. I wonder who woke you up today. Kyra: (laughs) Seriously, can't I wake up from my sleep on my own? Stop teasing me, Laura. It's not funny. Laura: (smiles and shakes her head) Mmm... it's not funny, but I bet you're laughing, which means it is funny. Kyra: (laughs) Wait a minute. Are you watching me, or did you do a spell on me? Laura: (chuckles) Come on, who needs a spell? If I know you, Kyra... Kyra: (laughs) Well... Let me do breakfast, and we'll talk at school. Laura: Okay, bye. (She was about to hang up when she remembers something.) Laura: Wait... Did you do the business homework? Kyra: Yep, you? Laura: I did it. Did Jess do it? Kyra: Don't know, and she's not my problem. Laura: Kyra!! Kyra: What? Laura: She's your friend, Kyra. Kyra: Not my problem, Laura. Not my problem. Laura: Wow, okay. Bye then. See you at school. Kyra: Bye. (She hangs up.) (On the way to school, Jayden, Caren, and Mike are together, having a conversation.) Caren: Dude, I didn't finish that homework they gave us on Friday. Jayden: We had homework? Mike: Which homework? Caren: (looks at them, then laughs) Never mind. Jayden: Caren, I'm serious. Mike: I still don't know which homework you're talking about. Caren: You two... You mean you had no idea that we have homework? Where were you when they gave us business homework?
