Caren: Ai, never mind, bros. Let's just hurry and write. It's the second period after break.
(They start walking fast.)
(At home, Charlton is chilling with Triton.)
Triton: Man, I went to see my parents on the weekend, and guess what? They bought me a new phone.
Charlton: (sighs) Your parents are still petting you at your age? Man, you're lucky.
Triton: (grins) I'm their only child. What do you expect?
Charlton: You'll never grow up. I doubt you'll ever get married, let alone have a girlfriend.
Triton: (laughs) Girls are the least of my problems, man. What about you? Any luck?
Charlton: (laughs) Who? Me? Bruh, I don't have time for girls. I have kids to look after and take care of.
Triton: (chuckles) Kids? Charlton, can you hear yourself? You're calling Claire and Laura kids? You can't be serious.
Charlton: (he stares at Triton) Claire and Laura are my responsibilities since our parents passed away, and it's my duty to make sure they are okay. So, if I bring a girl home, what will I be teaching them? Especially Laura? Claire can take care of herself, but I have to be hard on her a little for the sake of Laura, so that she can also pass her matric and build something better for herself.
Triton: (groans) Now you're making sense. I didn't think of that.
Charlton: It's because your head is full of liquid, T-man. Now, let's go to work. Claire will be home soon, and if she finds me here, she'll start stressing me.
(Triton laughs, and they leave.)
(On the way, Haera and Leon are chasing each other and laughing.)

Leon: (stares at Haera) Look, man... I'm not your girlfriend, or your younger brother, nor your servant. I can't think for you or give you whatever you want.
(At school, it's break time. Jessica is with Laura and Kyra at the cafeteria. They buy food and walk off, then go to their usual place to eat, under a long tree, where there is a table and three chairs.)
Jessica: (opens her food) Mmm... They smell nice.
Kyra: (stares at her) They always smell nice.
Laura: (clears her throat) Will you two ever stop fighting?
Jessica: I'm not fighting anyone. Kyra's the one who has a problem with whatever I say or do.
Kyra: Well, that's what happens when you have more than one friend.
Laura: (crosses her arms) So, Kyra, what do you suggest I do? You're my best friend, and on the other hand, Jessica is my friend.
Kyra: Well, in that case... (she chews her food and stammers) That's... an easy task. (she swallows) You choose between me and her. Easy as that.
Jessica: (she wides open her eyes, then looks at Kyra) You can't be serious.
Kyra: I wasn't talking to you, so shut up.
Laura: Well, Kyra, that's crazy.
Kyra: Crazy? (laughs) You wanna see crazy? Well, try me. Try to not choose, and you will see what crazy looks like.
(Laura and Jessica stare at each other in shock.)
Laura: (angrily) Wait... What? You're making me choose between you and Jessica?
Jessica: (squeezes her eyes and frowns) like really crazy
Kyra: (shouts and points at Jessica) I said shut up! (she goes near Jessica,Kyra packs Jessica's food and makes her wear her hat, then stands her up, turns her around, and points forward.)
Kyra: You can leave now. I've had enough of you. It's obvious Laura can't make her own decision, so I'll make them for her. And obviously, she can't choose you over me.
(Laura and Jessica stare at each other in shock.jessica leaves and looks back at Laura,as tears falls from her chicks)
Laura: (mouths to Jessica) Sorry.
(Jessica leaves, and Laura looks at Kyra, confused and shocked.)
Laura: (sits down) What's wrong with you, Kyra?
Kyra: (sits down and enjoys her food) Nothing's wrong with me. I'm just making sure you know who's important.
Laura: (grins in pain) You're being ridiculous, Kyra.
Kyra: (smirks) Am I?
Laura: you know what nevermind ( she eats her food)
Kyra: You know, if you think I made a wrong choice gore you, you can get up and join your Jessica,I don't care ( she continues enjoying her food).
Laura: (confused) WOW, it's like you give me no choice (she opens her food and eat)
(Later that day, Stephenie comes from work, going home. As she was walking, Naei sees her and greets her.)
Naei: Hey, you.
Stephenie: (looking tired) Oh... Hey. (laughs) Didn't see you there.
Naei: Never mind me. I just saw you, and decided to come along.
Stephenie: Okay, I just wanna get home and have a hot bath.
Naei: Yeah, you look tired. I can see that. Let me hold your bag for you.
Stephenie: (chuckles tiredly) Thanks.
(She gives him her bag.)
Naei: You're welcome.
Stephenie: I appreciate you a lot, Naei. You know you're my only friend.
Naei: (smiles) Yeah. (As they walk they arrive at stephenie's place and Naei continues to where he was going) Bye see you tomorrow at work.
Stephenie: bye ,see ya.
(At Claire's, Claire and Ainsley are watching a series on TV when Laura enters.)
Laura: (holding a water bottle with her right hand and a handful of her bag with her left hand, she then sighs heavily) What a long day...
(She plops onto the couch and sighs in relief, puts her water bottle on the table, and puts her bag on her thighs.)
Ainsley: Long day?
Laura: (sighs) Yeah, and also hectic.
Claire: (looks at her, then looks at the TV) Tell me about it. How hectic?
Laura: Trust me... (she looks at her, then puts her bag down) You don't wanna know.
Claire: Trust me... (she raises her eyebrow) I do.
Ainsley: (grins) Knowing Claire, she won't stop until you tell her what happened, so if I were you, I'd stop skirting the issue and get straight to the point. (she smiles and watches TV) Just a little advice.
Laura: Okay, I'll tell you. So, here's what happened... Kyra made me choose between her and Jessica.
Ainsley and Claire: (looks at her in shock) She did what?
Laura: Yeah, she made me choose between the two of them.
Ainsley: And who did you choose?
Claire: Kyra?
Laura: I didn't choose anyone, and I wasn't intending to, so Kyra chose herself
Ainsley:(shocked)she did what?
Claire:(laughs) No she didn't
Ainsley: (pauses the TV) Okay, so then, Laura, if you were to choose, who would you choose?
Laura: (stammers) I... I... I don't know. They're both my friends. I can't choose between them. When Jessica left, I felt pain, and I also felt like leaving Kyra would hurt me also, so I let Jessica go.
Ainsley: So ,you actually chose Kyra?
Laura: No,I mean Yes, I just don't know ,okay (sobs)
Claire: (unpauses the TV) So, Laura, you're telling me that you can't choose between Jessica and Kyra?
Laura: It's not that simple, okay?
Claire: This thing is easy as A, B, C... Kyra is the best friend you've ever had, so don't tell me it's not that simple.
Ainsley: (looks at Claire) I thought so.
Laura: (shocked) Wait... What? You're siding with Kyra? You know what? Never mind. I'll just ask brother Charlton for advice. I know he'll never make the wrong choice for me.
Claire: (rolls her eyes) Argh, whatever. As always, Charlton is always a hero.
Laura: (angrily) It's not like you make good choices for me, anyway.(Storms out of the sitting room,along with her water bottle and bag)
Ainsley: (looks at Claire) That wasn't necessary, Claire.
Claire: (stares at Ainsley) I know. (she looks at the TV) and you know it's the truth, Laura must learn to make her own decisions, Ainsley, and you know Kyra will never make anything to hurt her, just like you won't do anything to hurt me, correct?
Ainsley: (grins) Correct.
(Mike whistling, Jayden comes running)
Jayden: hi
Mike: oh Jay... didn't expect to see you roaming around this time
Jayden: what do you mean?
Mike: I mean ,you just got home,and already your here before I could reach home
Jayden: oh , I just wanted to get fresh air,after a long day at school
Mike:makes sense to me,after we spend a whole weekend not knowing we had homework, that was funny
Jayden: yeah hey(they laughs) if it wasn't for Caren , I don't know what I would have told my mother
Mike: Caren is crazy, why didn't he tell us on weekend
