The cozy restaurant was beautiful. Probably more beautiful than anything she'd ever seen. They served really good meals there, and Delaney wished she could devour her meal just as she'd have wanted to, but she couldn't, for obvious reasons - Kaiden.
She felt Kaiden's heavy stare on her the entire time, which made her feel uncomfortable.
The meeting was quite boring to her. She wasn't really adding to the discussions going on. She just sat there, almost like a decoration.
"Delaney?" Kaiden's voice brought her out of her thoughts, "The documents," He asked.
"Oh, here is it, sir." Finally, she felt useful.
She handed the documents over to Kaiden, which meant the meeting was almost coming to an end. 'Thank Goodness.' She couldn't wait to leave. She might just take a taxi or something
