“She’s waking up,” A weak voice commented from a distant part of my consciousness. I slowly became aware of my surroundings, first from the numbness of my arms and legs and then to the emptiness of my stomach before I finally registered the warmth surrounding the second finger of my left hand.  My eyes finally opened and although the image of the world around me was a little grainy, I could still make out the weird visual of Grey sucking on my finger.
