My sleep was more fitful with the knowledge that a demon was in my house, in my room, right on the edge of my bed. There was barely any moment of shut eye and whenever I did shut my eyes, it was not in sleep, just the usual pretence that precedes sleep but for me the real deal never came.    Black eyes stared unapologetically unmoving at me once my eyes opened from a short five minutes of sleep. It cannot be said to be a good way to wake up, especially with the recent activities going on around me. My heart did a full flip and banged against my chest in what felt like a semi heart attack. Swallowing through the cluster that had blocked the passage of air through my lungs and out my mouth, I said “Don’t you – Don’t you sleep?” My voice wavered but I held his gaze with fear in my heart,
