When Elsie got home, she took out the documents Gracie had given her and began to read the information carefully. The blind date reality show was similar to another popular television series called The Bachelorette that was airing overseas.
A total of 25 women of various professions and ages would stand on the stage with masks on. One by one, they would describe their hobbies, personalities, beliefs, and their views on love and marriage. Then, the male guests sitting below the stage would take their pick based on the descriptions.
If his interest was reciprocated, the female guest would ask him three questions, and if she was satisfied with his answers, she would then take off her mask before moving to the next part of the show. Otherwise, she would simply keep her mask on.
