I fed Caden a bite of my eggs, and he kissed me before slipping a piece of bacon into my mouth in return. We fell into a comfortable silence, eating lazily while the rest of the room watched us like we were some kind of myth — which, to be fair, we sort of were. Once I finished, I leaned back in my chair and looked toward the gathered alphas. “So,” I began, licking a bit of butter off my thumb. “My father tells me you’ve got potential. My husband says you’ve trained for this moment. I really hope so — because I’d love to see you kick some sexist pigs across my training grounds and feed their pride to my wolves.” Alpha Adams giggled, a flicker of fire behind her smile. “Yes, Luna. I’m ready.” Then she hesitated. “Can I ask you something?” I node, offering the rest of my bacon to Caden.
