Despite the fact I regularly made this journey, it still always shocked me when I got to the outer chamber of the Hall of Judgement and found no one there waiting. Thousands of years ago, the room would have been full to the brim of souls waiting to be judged, while Kebechet would have been running around and directing her priestesses to provide them all with refreshments.
