Rosalie's POV: A suffocating, terrible silence enveloped the interrogation room. My father stared blankly at the forensic report, his eyes wide. His lips twitched frantically as he tried to form words, but his throat refused to cooperate. Then, his knees buckled entirely, and he slid helplessly onto the cold floor.
