Leaving to exit the room, Loki turned away from Arianna. "Where are you going? You cannot leave me here; get back here!" She sobbed, getting up from the bed she had been seated on but Loki neither turned back or responded.
He walked out slamming the door behind him. He headed for the bathroom across the large hallways. He could easily show her that he was speaking the truth; he simply needed to change and knew he wouldn't be able to do it in front of her yet.
He wouldn't want that; she wasn't ready for that yet; transforming into a wolf would mean stripping off her clothes. She would take it the wrong way.
On his way to the bathroom, he ran across Lilith. " Loki slows down, I can not help but wonder where you could be going in such a haste." She made a smiling teasing joke.
"I have to go, sorry Li." She blocked him, though, according to him. "I'm sure nothing could ever be as important as myself." She said with a sensual smile.
Loki grumbled; he had no time for this. "There is indeed something more important than what you presently have Lilith. haven't you heard; I recently found my mate therefore there can be nothing between us now. As soon as I can, I will designate my mate as the Luna of this pack.
Loki remarked and softly pushed Lilith aside, then left the teary-eyed she-wolf without much of an explanation. Childhood buddy of Loki was Lilith Wolfe. Even their bodies, they had grown up practically sharing everything else. From what she could remember, Lilith had been in love with Loki. He was going to be the next alpha after all and the most beautiful wolf in the park.
Lilith had never kept the great crush she felt for him secret, and when they were teenagers he didn't hesitate to capture
the benefits he derived from her love for him.
She was rather like a sister to him; he could not really bring himself to love her back; only saw her as a very close friend he could keep near and guard. One he could kiss, gently touch and f**k as needed. Though Lilith had told him several times that she loved him, he had never told her that he loved her and he had also declared that he did not love her.
She always felt that Lilith, the son of Alpha, needed to keep his pride hence he never told her those three magical words.
Loki never built his bond with Lilith publicly; it was rather a secret only Williams knew about.
Lilith had always dreamed of being the Luna of her pack one day as a youngster, and she sorely wanted she would end up being Loki's mate so her aspirations would come true.
She was let down to discover Loki was not her mate when she turned eighteen and it came time to find out who mate was.
Her mate had been Klaus, a lad she hardly spoke to and never liked.
She felt it would only be proper if she ended up with the Alpha as the daughter of a Gamma and because she couldn't.
Since they were naturally bound, bring her inner wolf to reject her mate; she threatened and drove her partner into rejecting her, therefore severing the mating bond.
She went back to Loki in crocodile tears and said that her partner had turned her down, thus their secret affair carried on.
When Loki failed to locate his partner even at age 19, Lilith maintained optimism that she was still his mate.
Wolf rejection didn't disturb her as it was not unusual for them to have more than one mate. She was often offended by Loki's persistent denial of marking her his.
Even though she kept begging him, they had s*x. Officially, marking her would make her his mate; he did not want that. He was willing to wait till the day he would discover his true mate, the one the moon goddess herself would bless. Though anything they did was purely for enjoyment and nothing else, even the thought of Lilith as his mate disgusted him.
Particularly not now that Loki had at last found his mate, Loki was definitely not ready to think about Lilith. She should have understood that nothing could ever exist between them but their friendship, thus he couldn't even care whether her emotions were harmed.
He went to the bathroom and hurriedly threw his clothes away. He changed into a large, gorgeous wolf with black fur mixed with white, stunning emerald eyes flashing right away when he was totally naked.
Happy Lilith was not there anymore, he left the restroom and rushed across the hall. When he arrived at the room and opened the door, Arianna was back and forth looking distraught.
She turned to see whether her captor had at last come back and was shocked the most of her life. Her heart almost shot to her throat as she watched a wolf approach the entrance.
She withdrew backwards as it neared. She wondered how a wolf could have gotten into the place; was this how her captor killed her? Having a wolf consume her?
She turned back on the bed and pressed herself more into it. "You don't have to be so afraid of Arianna; it's just me." Loki replied, and Arianna felt as if the day couldn't get much worse.
She was first kidnapped and today she was ready to be eaten by a talking wolf. Was this actually occurring, or was it only a fantasy of her mind? She sorely wished she was dreaming at this moment.
"Arianna: It's me Loki." Loki exclaimed,
attempting to let her unwind. He is a man, not a talking wolf; you are not Loki. She defended with a pulse.
"I told you I'm a werewolf, thus naturally I can change into a wolf." He clarified, but she insisted on being practical even in front of the data before her.
Loki's only option was to turn back into his human persona in front of her. Startled at learning he was speaking the truth, he truly was a werewolf, and she felt a little more unhinged at seeing him naked. She gasped when she saw him. She quickly closed her
eyes and turned away, a flush covering her cheeks.
