As we made our back from the grocery store I couldn't help but ruminate on what Maria said. I had never wanted to know about something as badly as I did now. I never thought that a mother could just abandon their child, so there had to be a reason as to why she was not around. We got to the house and settled in, I bathed Mia, and we had our dinner. After watching Snow White, she nodded off, and I carried her to tuck her in. I went to my room and got ready for bed, cuddling up with my book in hand.
