Hey daddy I want to go to the city with Oli to his architecture firm and get a feel for it. It would be an over night trip if I want to spend time in the office and on sight. I leave for college next year dad. You know this is the feild I want to go into. Please? Well honey I think that would be ok. How do you feel about it Oli? Well I don't mind taking her. I just didn't know how you would feel since we would stay in the city. Well as long as you are appropriate with her, I trust you. She's a kid of course I will be appropriate. Well I gotten to know you over the years Oli and you're a good man. Just one thing she has a food allergy it's mussels. She has an epi pen and her insurance card in case of an emergency. Ok, I will make sure to take care of her. I'll call my office but we can go tomorrow. Ok just lets us know, and Oli. Yes? She's one of the most important precious people in my world. I know sir.

We were done eating now. I had been watching Oli talk to June with a little more time those two would actually be a good couple. They could potentially be a power coulpe in the building world. I once asked what she thought about him. She told me he was a nice guy. When I told her he was an architect she said she would love to get to know him better. They have been talking a while. Hudson? I want to go talk to Oli. Alright babe and helps me up. I walk over and hug June and tell her thank you. Hudson signals me to get June. June your big brother would like to talk to you. I'll be back, Oli.

So, whats up with you two? Nothing she's too young. Well she won't be forever. What is with you and her dad. What did he say? He says if I want to pursue her than he's ok with it. I just have to wait to touch her till she's 18. I mean she's nice and all but I just she's 16. Look Oli I'm going to say this because I love you and want you to be happy. We both know none of women you have dated, have been a good match. So, will you promise me to get to know her and have an open mind? She's a great person.

Yes, but she's just a kid and I'm not attracted to her. Well, Oli the thing about females is our bodies change a lot from 16 to 18. What was it you told Hudson? Have an open mind. I know you won't be attracted to her physically yet. You might mentally, but given time I know you will. Just give her a chance. Be her friend learn about her, when she is an adult she might surprise you. I will tell you this though, if you date people while you're trying to figure this out. You will only hurt her, when you both realize you were made for eachother. You're that sure? Yep but unfortunately for you. You're not allowed to use the kiss test on her ( I laugh). You're so funny Zoe. I am taking her to the city tomorrow it's an overnight trip. I was already a little nervous now I'm more nervous. Why's that? Well you guys are talking about her being my forever. How am I supposed to feel. I look at him and take his hand between the two of mine. Just take the opportunity to learn about her. She doesn't know what I'm talking to you about. That's why Hudson is talking to her. Hudson knows? Oh my god! It's ok. We all actually think you two are made for eachother. Great if Hudson agrees about his sister, than there must be something I'm not seeing. Yes there is. As far as June goes she just wants to learn about you and from you. She isn't thinking romantically about anything yet. Give her time and she will be ready. I do think she is interested in you though. She always crinkled her nose when the topic if a woman you were dating came up. You two tak on the phone often. Not that much, Oli defends. He sighs. It's just (he trails off before starting back) if she's even possibly going to be my future wife, shakes his head defeated. I don't want her lips on anyone else. I laugh she won't she is waiting to have her perfect kiss with her perfect man. The question is can you wait? Don't worry I won't be dating anyone. It's just she's so young. I laugh again. I know you're about seven years older than her and yeah right now its a big deal, but it won't be. Oli, just give the friendship a chance. Even at this age you can manage to have a friendship and things in common. Your relationship will be even that much better when she's older. Ok, ok! I will see if we can be friends. What do I tell people? She's a friend. That's all anyone needs to know Oli. So, tomorrow taking her to work with me where should I take her for dinner? June is a really easy person to please. You can take her out or cook for her, up to you. Whatever you like she will probably like. Ok, well before you bring her back, is there anywhere I should take her. I get a sparkle in my eye take her to CAM. She's wanted to go there and we haven't found time. Really I love the Contemporary Art Museum. I sometimes go when I'm stuck for inspiration. She'll love that. I'm feeling a little more at ease. Good where are you staying? Oh, I uh have a two bedroom apartment in the city. Ok that's good. Why do you look scared? Well my guest room has only had family in it. I have been meaning to design it but haven't. Well can I suggest something? Sure. Let June see the room in the apartment. Then when you go to the office give her the tools to design it's interior. I thought she wanted to be an architect? She wants to do both, but she loves architecture more. She's good at both. Why it was important for her to do both? She said, "keeping things in house makes more money. The business could grow and leave more for humanitarian projects. When people know you are doing great work, and are a humanitarian company more will hire you." His eyes widen that's a great idea. She's full of them and smart. She told me she learned compassion from you. Maybe but she's got it in her and she does amazing things when no one is looking. Well listen Mr. drive careful with my sister to be ok. Ok I will. Well lets go over there and get her. You guys should get some food before it's put away. Will do. I walk back over to Hudson with Oli. Uh June you wanna go get something to eat before it's gone? Yeah lets go. So? Hudson says. Well he's a little caught off gaurd and stumped. However, he would like to get to know her better. When I told him to take her to CAM he got all sparkly eyed. I told him about her idea to in house everything and the humanitarian company and all that. He was shocked and liked her ideas. Since his city apartments guest room is unfinished, I suggested he take her there first and tell her he wants her to fix it. To do it anyway she wants and see what she does. Babe thats a great idea he can see what she can do, Hudson says. I know he's probably thinking she'll do something girly. I can't wait till she shocks him. Me too babe, he kisses me. I'm glad you're not upset with your dad and me. No babe, I think you two are right. I know most people would think it's outrageous, but the two of the would fit well together. He just has to wait a little while. You think he's going to be able to wait two years to kiss her? I think this year will be easy because he still sees her as a girl. By this time next year, I think he will start to see her as a woman. Me too. I don't think he will make it to 18 for a kiss, I say. Yeah dad says he's betting by Christmas of 17 he will kiss her. Yeah Christmas there's always more emotions running.
