Chapter 1

Erica’s Point of view

“Please let me come with you to the movies.” Jake said to me.

“Fine! Sometimes you irritate me.” I said to Jake.

“Oh you love me.” Jake said to me while getting in the car.

“Of course I love you!” I said while starting the car and driving to the movies.

(After the movie) 

"That was the best movie ever!” Said Jake getting out of the car.

"Spider-Man is hot!” I said.

"Ewww! That’s disgusting. I like Black Widow better.” Jake exclaimed while running to the door. I rolled my eyes at him.

I was closing the car door when I heard Jake screaming for help.

I ran to the house to see my parents on the living room dead, blood everywhere and Jake being held at gun point by a bulky man.

“Help! Erica help!!”

"Stop let him go! He’s just a little kid. Stop it!” I yelled at the guy holding Jake.

 The guy looked at me and said “Mr.Black says hi.” Then he put a bullet in Jake’s head.

I bolted up from the bed feeling sweat going down my forehead.

"Bad dream.” I said out loud.

That was the day my little brother was killed in front of me.

I tried going back to sleep but I couldn’t.

"I’m not going back to sleep, so maybe I should just go for a run. Its cool outside today.”

After running outside for an hour I decided to go back to the house. I got a call from my boss telling me to go to his office.

So I took a shower and changed into a black crop top and black leggings with my black combat boots put my hair up on a pony tail and went to my boss’s office.

I knocked on the door then I walked in when I heard a raspy “come in.”

"Hey Boss you called.” I said.

  "Yes, I did. I have a new mission for you, and how many freaking times have I told you to call me Jerry? You know I hate being called ‘boss’. ” He said.

  “Okay what’s the mission ‘boss’?” I said smirking. He groaned. I knew I was annoying him.

If looks could kill I would be six feet under. Although I just kept smirking.

  “Fine! Frosty." He said smirking I straight up hate that nickname. 

He laughed then he went  back to being serious "Your mission is to capture and torture the leader of the Cobra gang that has been threatening my brothers. I must warn you we also think his ancestors were witches so be careful he might have powers. Do you think you can do it?” He told me in a serious tone.

I can do it. I am going to kick ass! It's not my first time doing this.

“Yeah I can do it. Who’s my target?” I asked while grabbing the file he was handing me.

"Your target is Adrian Black."
