Miller's POV I slammed my foot on the accelerator, feeling the car surge forward as speed and rage consumed me. I couldn't believe what I had just heard with my ears. The traffic light ahead turned red, a signal to stop, but I didn't wait. I fired on and blew past it, my tires screeching loudly in protest. Amelia's words still echoed in my ear, fueling my fury. She's getting married in two weeks' time? The thought of it alone was unbearable for me. My anger boiled over when I noticed a traffic jam. The traffic jam was not necessarily the cause of my anger, but it added to it like fuel added to fire. My hand landed on the horn, the loud sound blasting the car in front of me.
