The walls of the bakery shop held too many nostalgic echoes, and I wasn't ready to listen to them. I couldn't want to yearn for a possibility that wasn't certain. This reason pushed me to settle for a quiet coffee shop. Choosing a corner table where I could observe the entrance without being too obvious, I settled in the corner of the coffee shop.
