As soon as I heard Lisa's voice, I swiftly pushed Miller away, scrambling to create distance. I jumped down from the bathroom counter, my heart racing in my rib cage. With trembling hands, I adjusted my dress. “The zipper,” I mouthed, not wanting Lisa to hear anything. Miller's eyes locked onto mine, his chest heaving. He swiftly moved closer, his fingers brushing against mine as he helped me with the zipper. The touch sent a shiver down my spine, but I didn't dare look up.
