"You girls have fun then." David said and walked away.Sara looked up and caught the girl staring at her. She looked away, feeling embarrassed.
"You're beautiful." Layla whispered, her cheeks flushed. Sara stared at her again and laughed. Layla flushed more and backed Sara. Sara frowned at this and stood up from her chair.
"I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, Layla; I just thought it was funny that a pretty gorgeous girl like you would think that a plain Jane like me is beautiful." Sara sighed, looking down at her hands. "It's laughable, really laughable." Layla turned back to look at her and shocked the both of them by laughing.
