Ava's POV
The doctor came in and convinced my father to stay at least one more day. I stayed with him until bedtime and then headed back to our room. Levi had been in and out all day. I know that he was trying to talk to my mother and get information from her but hadn't seen him in a few hours. I grabbed a quick shower and sent him a link asking when he would be here but didn't hear back from him.
After my shower I crawled into bed just as the door opened up and Levi walked in. He looked as tired as I felt.
"I'm going to shower and then I will join you in bed," he said with a weak smile on his face. I just nodded at him and pulled the blankets up.
