I had been so nervous to get the spell reversed. Blake had reassured me that he was my mate, but I still had a little bit of doubt but when I woke in that hospital bed and all I could smell was him and Alpine going crazy in my head. I just took a deep breath and opened my eyes to see him staring back at me with the biggest smile on his face. He closed his eyes and when he opened them, they were black. His wolf had pushed forward.
"Hi mate," he said and reached up and touched my face. I leaned my face into his hand and felt the sparks erupt throughout my body. This was perfect, he was perfect.
