"Are you ready baby?" Levi asked me as he held out his new phone to me.
"I'm nervous. Is it weird that I'm nervous."
"Not at all. I've talked with my brother, and she is doing very well. They've got her the medical care she needed, and she is resting like she should be, and I am sure she will be happy to hear from you. If things continue to go well, maybe you can go out and visit her soon."
I nodded my head and dialed Levi's old number. His brother had given it to her so if she needed to reach us, she would be able to. It rang three times before she answered.
