Ava's POV
We were all standing around the tree. All the witches were holding hands forming a circle facing the tree and all of us wolves were holding hands around them facing away from the tree. It was a protective barrier around them. We weren't afraid of something coming right now but in the next few days we expected more witches to show up and try to take over, but we had a plan in place, we were prepared.
I could hear the witches start their chant. I wish I could watch them. It was interesting to watch them. The times that I have seen it, it's like they get in this trance and their eyes glaze over. It can be memorizing.
