Dominus didn't return to the Citadel until evening. I had mind-linked him when I thought he should have arrived, and he had said he was on his way.
Maureen had asked the soldiers that led Lisa to the throne room not to take her back to the orphanage but they were to take her to Mara.
“Dominus,” Maureen called his name happily when he entered the throne room. She got up and hugged him. “Thank you very much, dear brother,” she said, smiling.
“You are welcome dear sister,” Dominus teased.
“You must go home at once, but tomorrow morning, we have something important to discuss,” Maureen said to him.
