Maureen's POV
I watched with dissatisfaction as Rocha became too engrossed with Jade to notice the moment his mate dashed inside the building in anger. Dawn and I exchanged glances as we watched her go.
I only counted three after Torrent disappeared from sight before the first rain hit the ground. As the storm grew worse, Rocha noticed Torrent's disappearance, and I waited till he realized just what had caused the storm before I walked to him and pulled his hands to get him towards the direction I saw Torrent disappear.
“Your Majesty, what…” Rocha was about to question me when he saw his mate sitting on the floor at the end of the corridor.
“Go away. Not you, Your Majesty. Him,” Torrent said pointing at Rocha.
