Maureen's POV I yawned and stretched like a cat as I came awake. I was tired the previous day. It was not tired because of the physical activity but from the emotional strain of battling with Sheila for control. The argument between Lance and Sheila was the most shocking thing I had experienced in recent times. I never saw my blackouts when Sheila and Marshall were together as anything. I had mentioned it to Lance once, but he downplayed the severity, and I let it go. The door to the room opened and Lance walked in smiling at me. He had obviously taken his bath and he was dressed. “You didn't wake me up,” I stated. “I thought you needed the sleep,” Lance said then made his way to the bed and kissed me lightly on the head. “Are we ever going to talk about it?” I asked as I sat up
