I had just left work and was heading to my car when my cell started ringing.
“Hello?”
“Julia, it’s Ink, there’s been a shooting. At the club. Tank has been hit. He is on his way to hospital now. You need to get your ass down here now!”
I dropped my phone, I couldn’t breathe. No. No not again, I couldn’t lose him too. Tears filled my eyes as I bent down to grab my cell. I unlocked my car and drove straight to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital in record time. I left my car parked up outside the hospital, I would move it later. I didn’t care about how much the ticket would be. I ran inside, asking for someone to direct me where I was going.
