ARIC WOLF (Luca's Wolf)
I went after Mia. She must be extremely hurt and disappointed based on the way she growled at Alice. Mia continued running for a considerable amount of time before coming to a stop next to a tree, where she sat and fixed her gaze on mine. There are so many emotions there.
I put my muzzle on her head as I stood next to her. She is not alone, and I wanted her to know that. She repeatedly rubbed her head against my muzzle to feel my warmth. She backed away and began to roll over, but when she stopped, she gave me a serious look and motioned for me to follow suit. I did the same. Between us, a tiny pollen spore flew, and Mia launched herself in an attempt to catch it, but she was unsuccessful. Being the gentleman that I am, I repeatedly allowed her to try her luck. There is some wind in the area, despite the heat, and the spore flies quickly and erratically.
Because the scene my eyes were seeing was so funny, I giggled internally. When I finally spotted the pollen spore in a manageable position, I acted quickly, leaped up, and grabbed it. Since I had caught Mia off guard, she c****d her head to the side in surprise. I could sense she was going to chase after me. I hid and made several attempts to flee as she ran after me. She would occasionally jump, and she would also occasionally reach out and touch me with her paw.
I could tell Mia was having fun, and that was what I wanted.
When I finally thought she was calmer, I let her catch me, but unintentionally my paw slipped and Mia stood over me, muzzle to muzzle. The electricity between the two of us circulated quickly; I couldn't give in to the desire, otherwise Lucas wouldn't forgive me, so I spun her around, and now that I was on top, I wagged my tail in contentment and felt Mia's doing the same.
I find it annoying that I can't communicate with her through a mindlink. I then revert to my human form while maintaining my dominance. She receives an embrace from me.
I whispered, running my hand through her fur, "Mia, I will always be here for you."
"Don't m******e yourself with her mistakes. She has to be stronger, she has to go through hardships; it is in them that we learn and improve," I tell Mia as she rubs her head against mine in what I assume to be an expression of gratitude.
"What she did today is not done, but the pull of the mate bond is strong and she, for some reason, could not resist."
I returned to my wolf form and stood there with her, hanging and sitting next to her, for hours.
Jacob sent me a mindlink some time ago, but I thought Mia needed more time there and, in fact, so did I. It was very kind of Kayla to let us be together, even if it was just a little.
