Pure Alpha Blood Families

Melanie POV "Actually, there are four, with Leon being the fifth.... Oh my! How come I never deemed that before?" That was the only thing I could say when I realized that what Smith said was true. I remembered a prophecy my father, The Great Wizzard, was always telling me when i was a child. He said there should be a day, everything would be as perfect as he dreamed of. Now I know how delusional he was. "Will you let me use your computer, Lucas? In a moment, I'll explain." I asked as I rose from my seat and approached his desk. "Sure. " Lucas moved slightly away from his computer, standing behind it, and motioned for me to approach it and accept his executive chair. I sat down and began typing at a slow pace, as I am not particularly skilled at using these devices. I typed Prophecy of the Six Pure Alpha Blood into the search engine. The search only found one result. I read it aloud. The Prophecy A new generation of six Alpha Pure Bloods will emerge. One of them will hold the crown, and either the known world will come to an end or a new era will begin. "Six?" Lucas, who is also reading, asks, almost as if thinking to himself. "Jaime Dust or Dean Rupert Dust, whatever you want to call him, is the King of the Mercenaries. He, too, is of pure Alpha blood." I told them. Jaime is a beast; he is almost feral. Dean only shows up sometimes. He is dangerous because he is descended from a powerful family. "The Alpha Pure Blood families are studied by us, witches, because they are the most powerful in the werewolf world. If you study history you will know Dust, MacCarthy, Dolivo, Hayda, and Llama are those families." My words only seem to make sense to Kayla; as queen, Kayla had to study all the families, insignias, and packs. "Dust, that's Dean's family. Dolivo is mine and Jacob's. MacCarthy is Leon's. Cadell is Alice's. Who are the Hayda and the Llama?" Lucas, spins my chair around and asks me directly, shifting his gauze between me and Kayla. "Hayda and Llama are two other families; they are two of the oldest families that exist. Llama lives in another country and, as far as I know, is made up of elders only at the moment, and they are living as eremits. Hayda is from a royal lineage. As far as we know, they all died many years ago. The werewolf world was divided into two kingdoms at the time; the Southern Kingdom, in Australia, and the Northern Kingdom, here. Hayda was the royal family that controlled the South, while MacCarthy was the one that controlled the North." Kayla began to explain a little about Hayda and Llama. I understand most of the new generation didn´t heard about them, because they all think this family extinguished, and the werewolf world is too proud to admit they have been slaughtered by vampires and werewolves who allied to them. "Both families shared power and were close. It is said that the MacCarthy family only lost its two kings, Leon's parents, in the Great m******e because the Hayda family had already been wiped out earlier, in another great m******e. They say that the power of the two families was so great, when put together, that there was no one to stand up to them." Kayla pointed out some important historical points. My mate, Jacob, got up from the couch he was sitting on. He puts his hand on Kayla's chair and asks the question I least wanted him to ask. "What is your family, Kayla?" "She's MacCarthy." I answered, hoping that Jacob will never find out, and I use my Fae powers, suggesting we go back to the original plan. "Jacob and I will search for the Fae Queen together. I need to alert them right away and make them allies." Additionally, with a little assistance from this phrase, everyone will forget about the subject of families. "Lucas and I will visit my pack, try to learn as much as we can, and depending on the journey, we'll see how my pack can assist us." Alice says, but I notice strange emotions in her, different from the ones I felt the first time I saw her. She seems more restless today. I feel some negative emotions, like sadness, but I also feel some anger. I understand that this is extremely difficult for her, but I hope she can manage her emotions properly. The last thing we need right now is a division between us. "Yes, it is crucial to understand what transpired that evening. " We are given one of Kayla's smiles. Kayla is not easier to read, both because of the power she has and the way she masks her emotions constantly. "Smith is going to stay with Kayla. I'll take some warriors and my Gamma, Anthony." The decision Lucas made is a good one, Smith is a Beta, he is strong, and he will be able to deal with pack issues and also help to protect Kayla. Now more than ever, she must be protected. "I will make a list of all the packs in the Kingdom. Then I will confront it with all of the elements that came back from the ceremony, the ones that disappeared. We need to know who is on the Council right now and what position the Council is in." Kayla informs us. "Alice, have you informed your father that we are going to visit him?" Lucas asks Alice. "No, I didn't know what to say. I feel bad for not letting them know I was alive, but I didn't know what to say. " Alice's sadness invades my senses, and I try to ease some of her pain by emitting positive emotions. "Better that way." Lucas replied in a thoughtful tone. " If they see some kind of threat, they will have to return immediately. " Smith says as he pulls his body from the wall and gazes at Lucas. I can sense how worried he is, and how he wanted to be with his Alpha protecting him. "The worst that can happen is that Alpha won't let his daughter return." Jacob, who is now looking out the window, mentions, "For that, we have to rely on good acting skills from Alice and Luca. If he thinks everything is okay, it will be easy for Alice to leave quickly, " Kayla suggested, as she signed deeply. She is afraid of them both, but she is masking it with a blank face.
