"What's wrong?" I started to feel uneasy as Lancaster's expression became overly serious.
"Could you please come down? The others are downstairs, and it's easier if we all chat at the same time." Lancaster's request simply reinforced my suspicions. Something isn't right. Alice and I follow him in silence; I believe our reserves for surprises and problems have run dry, and neither of us can think of another impending challenge.
When we reached the packhouse´s living room, I saw that Alpha Vincent, Melanie, and Jacob were waiting for us.
