Lather, rinse, repeat. Sometimes I would get to see Mike or Chuck. Chuck can weave a tale that takes you away from where you are. You can almost smell the Nile when he talks about his time in Egypt. The smell of baking bread in Paris. You can close your eyes and see the soldiers marching in early America. I look forward to the times I spend with them. It makes the hell this hospital is slightly bearable. They want to know when I'm going to get out of here. I keep telling them the doctor isn't going to let me go. The Doctor has shown no sign of growing old of me. I fought back for a while, but he would just stab me with a sedative and wait a few minutes to have his way with me. I have no fight left in me. I have nothing left in me. No hope. Only the blinding realization that this is my life now. I called my boss and landlord and let her know I'm in the hospital. She told me not to worry that my job and home would be waiting for me when I got back and to get better soon. Olivia talks to me sometimes. She was pretty freaked out when she realized I should have been dead and I wasn't. But she's come around. She says I probably had the noose wrong and that's why I didn't die. Whatever you need to tell yourself toots. My stitches came out yesterday. Mike says I healed up nicely. The scars are noticeable but maybe a plastic surgeon can reduce them. Mike asked me what's wrong, why do I look so hopeless. I told him it didn't matter no one believes me. That it's the doctor. He won't leave me alone. *** Today the doctor took me into his office. As soon as he locked the door he reached up my shirt and grabbed my breasts. He stuck his disgusting tongue in my ear. He always smells like old coffee and stale cigarettes. He kept fondling me as he took off his pants. His wrinkled saggy balls hanging halfway to his knees. I thought I saw a shadow move past the whited out window next to the door. I heard the handle try to turn. The lock stopped it. Just as the doctor was going to enter me I saw a fist punch through the glass. The hand unlocked the door and Mike slammed the door open. Mike grabs the doctor and starts beating him into a plup. I scramble away and quickly cover myself. Security was right behind him including the b***h that said I was lying. They arrested the doctor while he was still naked and dragged him through the hospital so everyone could see. Mike helped me up and I got dressed. He said "OK, one problem down. Now to get you out of here."
