What the room lacked in size was more than compensated for in the quality of furnishings. She swivelled in silence. Two three-seater mahogany leather chesterfields flanked a low coffee table obviously handcrafted by the same artist who had created the hall stand. They were grouped together on a deep pile rug dramatic in black and white. Behind one chesterfield a narrow chest equalled its length. On it were displayed some Lladro pieces and silver frames. Sitting snugly beyond was the dining area completely filled by a highly polished, but dust dulled, oval table and six chairs reflecting the leather's hue. Beyond that again was a tall cabinet.
