Hitting him helped me release some of the anger I had been bottling up. I didn't expect my reaction to seeing him to be one of violence, but he put me through hell, and he dared put Marina through the same.
Marina, my baby sister, the funny, cute, vibrant kid that made everything better with her big smile. Now she is a shadow of that, and he is to blame.
Arran let me vent out, and I am thankful for it. I could see the surprise on his face when I asked him to protect his witness because I was not nearly done with him. Marina was so angry that she also smacked the hell out of him.
He is a dragon, so even our strongest hit was nothing to him. After a moment, I realized that it was not worth it. I went through everything and I ended up safe and happy.
