He Still Remember

It was Monday, Jungkook was already out from the hospital. He decided to go to work after a day of rest. That was what the doctor said after all. Even though he wanted to go to work already, he cant.
Even his boyfriend also told him to rest. If he won't, Jimin will lock him inside his room, that was what the latter said to him.
He was on his way to their company. He doesn't know why, but he was excited to go back to work. When he entered their company, all the employees were looking at him.
Strange.
He headed to his office.
He saw Taehyung wasn't there on his usual seat.
Where is he? Is he absent?
He just shrug the thought and went inside his office. He was not so surprise that his table was full of papers. He sigh.
" Lots of load yeah? " he said to himself.
He placed his bag on the couch and walks to his swivel chair. He took a deep breathe and sat down. He just gt back from work but he already have a lot of papers to work to.
" This will be a long day. " he said, stretching his shoulders.
Jungkook was so focused on his paper works that he didn't hear that someone was knocking on his door. The person entered the room, but Jungkook still haven't notice.
" Mr.Jeon. " the person called him.
Jungkook was so focused on reading the files, that he didn't hear.
" Earth to Mr.Jeon. " he called again. This time Jungkook heard him.
Jungkook shifted his attention to his visitor, or lets say -
" Yes Mr.Kim? Do you need something? " Jungkook asked.
" I'm here to give this to you. " Taehyung handed him a paper bag.
" And what's this? " he asked as he received it.
" Lunch? " Taehyung replied.
" Its already lunch time? " Taehyung nods. " Wow, time flew fast. I didn't notice the time. "
" Yeah. And don't forget to drink your medicine. " Taehyung said.
Jungkook wondered how he knew that.
" How about you Mr.Kim? Have you eaten already? " Jungkook asked.
" I'm fine Mr.Jeon. " he replied.
" Why won't you join me? " Jungkook offered.
" I still got a lot of things to do Mr.Jeon. Please excuse me. " Taehyung said as he bow.
Jungkook just watch him as he closed the door. He opened the paper bag that Taehyung gave him.
" Wow, he still remembered. "

It was their 1st anniversary. And Jungkook was so nervous.
What if he wont like my gift for him?
What if he forgot that its our anniversary?
What if he is busy?
What if -
His mind is full of 'What ifs'
It was their first anniversary after all.
" So what is your gift for him? " his friend asked.
" Well I just bought him a beanie, couple watch and there's this leather jacket that he really wants to buy. " he replied.
" Wow, you got a lot. Lets see if that can surpass what he will give to you. "
" I think he forgot. " Jungkook frowns.
" Don't be negative bunny. I know Taehyung won't. Its a special day for the both of you. "
" I can't stop thinking about it Jin-hyung. " he replied.
" He wont bunny. I'm sure of that. I think I'll be going now bunny. Good luck later. Send my regard to your boyfriend. " Jin said as he took his leave.
Jungkook fished his phone out from his pocket and dialed his boyfriends number.
On the third ring,he answered.
" Yes love? " he said.
" Are you busy? " Jungkook asked.
" My class will end at 6PM today. Why love? Any problem? " the latter said.
" Oh, is that so? Are you free after that? "
" I don't think so. But I'll contact you if - "
" No no. Its okay love. "
Jungkook said, but deep down he was sad.
" Sure? I can adjust my thesis making if you want. " Taehyung said.
He knew that his lover wanted them to have some time together.
" No love, its okay, really. "

" Are you sure? "
" Yeah. "
Another lie
" Okay then. But I'll try to catch up, I'll try finishing this one fast. "
" Okay. "
" Is that all? "
" Yeah. --- Wait, do you know what today is? "
" Wednesday? "
" Ohh, yeah. Right. "
Jungkook's voice soften.
" I think I need to go now, love. "
" Okay. "
" I love you. "
" I love you too. "
And they hang up.
To say that Jungkook was disappointed is an understatement.
To think that his lover haven't greeted him.
Maybe he really did forgot.
By the time Jungkook checked the time, it was already near 6PM.
He decided to walk home, he haven't brought his car.
He pass by the park where he always play when he was still a kid.
He noticed that lights covered the whole park.
" Mister, this is for you. " A kid said, handing him a white rose.
He loves white rose.
" Thank you kid, but who - "
" It's a secret mister. "
Did his parents thought him right manners?
And the kid run away.
" Okay that was weird. "
He slowly went to a bleacher to sit down.
He looks around and see kids playing, running and laughing their lungs out.
Oh how I miss being a kid.
Suddenly a little girl went to him.
" Hi there mister. " She greeted.
" Hello there pretty girl. " He patted her head.
" Why are you alone? " She asked.
" No I'm not, you're with me. " He replied with a smile.
" No. I saw you were alone so I come to you. Would you like to play? I've got a lot of friends there. You can join us. " She offered as she points to the direction where her playmates are.
" I would love to sweetie, but I need to go in a minute. " He replied.
" Is that so? " He nodded.
" Okay then. Bye mister. Play with us next time. "
She waved as she walks away.
Jungkook decided to head home. He wanted to cook dinner. His phone suddenly rings. He grab his phone from his pocket and answered it without looking who the caller is.
" Hello? "
" Hey Jungkook, where are you? You've got something to do? " The person said from the other line.
" I'm heading home now. " He replied.
" Okay then, can I pick you up? "
" Sure hyung. I'm here at the park. "
" Coming. "
He stayed where he was, waiting for his hyung to come.
After a minute he saw a black Mercedes coming his way.
It stopped in front of him. The window rolls down, revealing the who the person is.
" Hop in. "
Jungkook opened the door on the shotgun seat.
" Where are we going Hobi-hyung? " He asked as the car started.
" Somewhere. "
Jungkook just look at him.
" Kidding. I'm taking you home of course. I wanna eat. "
They turn on a corner and they arrived to Jungkook's house.
They went inside and was greeted by their maids with all smile.
He turn his back to tell Hobi that he can go first to the dinning room and he'll just go to his room and change, but he see no signs of him.
Maybe he already went there.
Jungkook went to his room to change.
He pick a plain white v-neck and a small shorts.
He was leaving when he noticed his door to his veranda was open. He never leave that open.
He slowly walks there and look outside.
His eyes widen to what he saw.
Their garden was filled with beautiful lights. There is a round table, plated elegantly. Rose petals scattered everywhere, white and red.
He remembered the kid who gave him a rose earlier at the park.
His eyes landed to a certain spot, or let's say person.
Candle lights forming a heart, in the middle was the person who he wishes to spend his life with.
Standing at the center, holding a bouquet of roses, red and white.
A smile all over his face, looking at the person at the veranda.
Jungkook noticed that their where banners.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
He doesn't know what to feel.
It was their friends holding the said banners.
Jungkook couldn't contain himself, he was crying. He really thought that Taehyung forgot their special day.
" I know you're thinking that I've forgot about this special day. I know you were sadden and disappointed. I know - "
Taehyung haven't finished what he was saying for the reason that his lover disappeared from the veranda.
After a minute he found him running towards him, crying.
" You know how I felt but still you haven't said anything. " Jungkook said as he softly punch his lover's chest.
" If I tell you something, then this surprise will be useless. "
" I hate you. "
" Nah, you love me. " Taehyung said as he kissed his lovers temple.
He hugged him.
" Stop crying. " Taehyung tried to soothe him.
They pulled away and stared at each other's eyes like it was their first time seeing each other again.
Their moment was ruined when someone cleared his throat.
" Can we go now? Holding this banner is so tiring. "
" Namjoon-hyung? How - "
" Don't asked how I ended up here holding this banner. " Namjoon said as he shake the banner.
Taehyung chuckled.
A kid come out of nowhere holding a box.
" Hey. You were the kid who gave me a rose at the park. " Jungkook exclaimed.
" Hi there mister. " He greeted.
" Call me Jungkook. "
The kid handed the box to Taehyung and took his leave.
Jungkook gasped.
" Don't tell me you were the one she put those lights at the park? " He yet again exclaimed.
" Not literally me - "
He haven't finished what he was about to say because Jungkook hugged him.
" I love you. "
" I know. "
" We're happy for the both of you, but can we go home now so you could have your own time? "
" Jin-hyung, you didn't - "
" I won't ruin what he was planning by telling you kiddo. " Jin said.
They placed the banner somewhere else and went to the couple.
" Congratulations to both of you. " Hobi said.
" Yeah, congratulations to you two. But next time can you not make us hold those banners or something thing? " Namjoon said sarcastically.
" Stop it. " Jin said.
" We'll be going now. Enjoy your night. "
" Thank you so much hyungs. " Jungkook thanked them.
" Don't mention it. "
As soon as they left, Taehyung took Jungkook's hand. Holding the box.
He slowly opened it.
It was a silver bracelet, with their initials.
" It's beautiful. " Jungkook said.
" Not as beautiful as you are, love. "
Jungkook's blushed to what was his lover said.
" Thank you so much for these. You really know how much I love roses. Especially white. " Jungkook said.
" I know every detail of you, love. Even small things. " Taehyung said as he embrace his lover.
" Happy anniversary. "
" Happy anniversary. "

He opened the paper bag and saw a note saying,
Take care of yourself. Don't skip lunch. You don't know how much I was worried when you collapsed.
And a white and red rose was there together with the note.
