The moment I heard her scream—that scream—something inside me snapped so violently it felt like the entire world split open.
My wolf didn’t just push forward.
He detonated.
A roar tore out of my chest, shaking the walls of the cave as I charged inside, claws digging into stone, fury flooding every vein in my body. The air was thick with the stench of blood. Emilia’s blood.
My vision went red.
Soraya spun toward me, her eyes widening—but she reacted a heartbeat too slow.
My wolf slammed into her with full force.
Her body flew across the cave and crashed into the wall so hard the stone cracked behind her. She screamed as she hit the ground, but I was already shifting mid-air, bones snapping back into human form, skin burning, breath tearing out of me in ragged bursts.
