Emilia's POV
“Maximus, what the hell is wrong with you?! This is insane!” I yelled as he kicked the door open and entered inside, using his leg to close it.
He set me on my feet and for a moment I swayed, but his hand steadied me as he pulled me to his chest.
“Do you remember this place?” He whispered as his hand gripped my waist. “This is the place I claimed you. This is where I made you mine.”
“I’m not—” I didn’t get to finish what I wanted to say when he turned me and pressed my back against the door.
“Don’t you dare say that Emilia. You belong to me, you’ve only ever belonged to me.” Something cracked inside me and my eyes burned.
