Danny's POV
Someone was shaking me. Well, someone was shaking Devin, but since he was pretty much wrapped around me, I was shaking too. I fluttered my eyes open and tugged out of his grasp. I frowned at Karissa. My eyes fluttered open to a smirking Karissa. I tugged away from Devin.
"Danny...?" he murmured, reaching out for me. Karissa’s lips widened in glee and I prodded Devin. Of course he didn’t wake with a simple nudge, so I knuckled his head to which he jolted up with a snarl.
"As much as I’d love to, I have no time to watch you flirt," Karissa said before we could initiate a fight. She fished out car keys from Devin’s bag. "Eric and I need the car for today. It's up to you guys to find a way to school."
