"Xion."
My name slipped from between her succulent lips breathlessly. Her eyes held a look of fear, curiosity, and lust. I felt a shiver run down my spine as she whispered it, the weight of her gaze intensifying the moment. It was as if the air around us crackled with electricity, pulling me closer to the edge of an unknown desire.
When I stepped out of the truck, I noticed the sweat trickling down her face, sliding teasingly down her neck to her breast in her sports bra. It made me lick my lips as images of me licking the sweat from her chest enveloped my mind. At that moment Ty snatched me back and took control from me. I couldn't stop him from taking over if I wanted to. He desired his mate and was not inclined to permit me to approach the situation gradually.
A few minutes after she ascended the stairs to start her shower, I followed her scent to her room. She hadn't finished unpacking yet, and the room was still quite bare. I shook my head, knowing that we were going to be in the mall all day while she and Karman shopped for her room decor.
As the steam from the shower began to rise from beneath the door, bringing her natural scent to my nostrils, I had to force myself into a mental trance to prevent Ty from storming into the bathroom.
All he wanted to do was mark her so that she wouldn't be able to leave us when s**t hit the fan. I took a seat on the bed, trying to get him to understand that she didn't know about our true nature yet and that he could scare her off being so aggressive. But my words only seemed to inflame his fury even more.
"You need to tell her about me and the others soon. I can't lose her; she needs me. She needs us. Something in her is calling to me," he growled, pacing the small space as tension hung thick in the air, instantly giving me a headache.
I could feel the weight of his desperation, but I also knew the risk of revealing our secret too soon. "If we tell her now, it might push her away instead of drawing her closer," I replied cautiously, hoping to ease his agitation while protecting her from the chaos that was our lives.
He stopped abruptly, considering my words. "But what if we wait too long? What if we lose her completely?"
I sighed, the tension in the air thickening between us. "We have to find the right moment," I said, trying to calm the tension that had built within me. I was desperately trying to detach his emotions from mine so that I could think clearly. "I'll tell her soon, I promise. She feels the mate bond just like we do, but she is human and doesn't understand why she is drawn to us, and we only met yesterday."
My heart raced at the thought of how complicated things had become in such a short time. "We both need to approach the subject carefully; we can't rush her into accepting something so surreal to her."
"Let's find a way to make her feel comfortable and safe so she can embrace what this means for all of us," he stated finally, calmly and thinking rationally. That's until the shower stopped, and she opened the door in just an oversized towel.
Her damp hair clung to her shoulders, water sliding down her neck to the swell of her breast. Sent me into a world of lust. She jumped back slightly, clutching her chest, with a look of shock and confusion shining in her eyes. She wasn't expecting to see me sitting here.
Ty took over again, told her she took long enough, and began stalking her. For every step we took, she took one backward until we had her pinned against the wall and my body. I could feel the heat radiating between us, her breath quickening as the tension in the air thickened. Ty grinned, reveling in the power of the moment while I battled the urge to close the distance further, knowing that temptation was only a heartbeat away.
He brushed our lips against her ear and growled, "Mine." Her eyes widened in surprise, and I could sense the shiver that ran down her spine at his words. The primal claim hung in the air, electrifying the atmosphere and leaving us all breathless with anticipation.
She tried pushing us away, and that upset us both. "Don't," we uttered in unison, while I encouraged him to push closer to her. The tension between us thickened as she hesitated, caught between fear and something deeper, something that seemed to draw her toward us.
That's when my name slipped from her lips. It felt like a spark igniting a fire, awakening emotions that had long been buried.
"Please," she whispered, vulnerability lacing her voice, as if she were handing us the key to something we had been yearning for.
I told Ty to take a regretful step back from her. I instantly missed the sensation of her body pressing against mine. She closed her eyes and took in a breath, gathering herself. I took control back from Ty and just studied her.
"Sorry about that; I lost control of myself for a second," I explained, taking another step backward.
"Please forgive me if I startled you." I took a deep breath, trying to regain my composure and reassure her that I meant no harm.
"It's okay, really." She stuttered over her words before continuing, "I just wasn't expecting anyone to be here." Her eyes softened slightly, and I could see the tension beginning to ease from her shoulders as she took a cautious step closer.
I smirked at her nervousness, trying to lighten the mood.
She blushed before running her hands through her damp hair and letting out a small, nervous laugh. "Did you need something, Xion?" she asked me with a hint of curiosity in her voice. I could tell she was trying to regain her composure, but the way she glanced at me suggested she was still unsure about our encounter.
"Actually, I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you before we join the others," I replied, taking my seat back on the bed. "Go on and get dressed; we can multitask.
She took one look at my mischievous grin and started laughing.
"Let me get this right. You expect me to hold a conversation with you while I get dressed. I only met you yesterday, correct?" She inquired, maintaining her grin.
"Yes," I said with a wink. "Besides, you might as well get used to my presence now."
"And why is that?" she asked with her hand on her hip and a determined look in her eyes.
"Because," I replied playfully, "I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Once you've had a taste of my charm, you'll find it difficult to resist."
She raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued, and replied, "Well, you've certainly got my attention. Now, let's see if you can keep it."
"Is that a challenge, baby ?" I smirked, leaning a little closer. "Because I thrive on challenges, and I promise to make it worth your while."
She didn't respond, just smiled and shook her head before heading to her dresser to grab her undergarments. She then turned and headed for her walk-in closet. She left the door open, stepped inside, and asked me again what I wanted to talk about.
I leaned back on the bed and listened to her get dressed while asking her questions about herself to get to know her better.
She emerged from the closet a little while later wearing Nike tights that perfectly hugged her fat ass and a matching one-shoulder sports bra. A wolf medal, hanging from a bellybutton piercing, accentuated her flat, toned stomach. She wore an ankle bracelet and Jordan Oreo sneakers on her small feet.
I couldn’t help but admire the way she carried herself, a blend of confidence and casual ease. Her laughter filled the room as she struck a playful pose, clearly enjoying the attention. I found myself captivated not just by her appearance but by the vibrant personality shining through with every smile and gesture.
"Are you ready to go now, or do you want to keep playing 21 questions?"
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the offer. "Why not both?" I replied with a grin, eager to continue this lighthearted exchange.
She smiled and opened her room door before leading the way back downstairs toward the other. I couldn't help but watch her ass sway as she walked. And I know for a fact she felt my gaze.
