I went to meet Damien again for the 3rd time today. Hailey is supposed to go home in two days, and I had no idea how I could change Damien's mind about this.
"So… Hailey still goes home?" I asked like a fool.
"Hmm..." he replied, having his eyes focussing on the laptop.
"Can't we keep her with us, Damien? She will never be happy without you in her life." I said.
"She has to go home, Drake. Even if I want to stop it now, I can't do that. I have made a deal with Hailey's father. Also, if she goes home, she will be safe, and she will live her life. But if she stays with us, her life is in danger as same as ours." Damien replied.
