I enjoyed many hours digging into the background of the legend and the folklore surrounding the Superstition mountains in Arizona.
Interest in this topic was born and bred into me.
I grew up in Tucson, not all that far from the Superstition Mountains, and my father was fascinated by the legend of the Lost Dutchman’s mine, regaling my siblings and me with stories about it on many occasions.
