I just didn't want to hear anything. I refused to accept the truth. I loved Celine; that's why I shut my ears and decided to not know what happened. I decided to tie my old papers, especially if this would make an obstacle between Celine and me.
"stop! Don't tell me anything, jack. Keep it to the past." I said authoritatively.
Jack looked at me, shocked, confused, "but you should know the truth! You must."
I shook my head, "no. And I need both of you to get out of the house for a while." I said, looking at Jack and Emily.
Emily gasped, "me? Maybe I came back for revenge, but what about Celine?"
"what about her? She's my wife, and I love her." I said immediately, there was nothing to discuss, my heart belonged to Celine, and I wanted to keep it that way.
