One Last Call

Chapter 2- First Meet

I lived in Pennsylvania for 5 years then moved to New York for a better job opportunity. I applied for personal assistance for the CEO of the Red Swan Intel and got the job after 4 weeks of waiting and training. The investment I had put in grew so much that I was not worried about money like others and bought a house in Queens. I go to a small cafe in Queens called Arya Cafe. I went there every day and sat there for 2-4 hours just finishing any leftover work or hanging out with friends.

When I got the email saying I was hired. I went all out and celebrated with my best friend Mai. I was to start working on Monday starting from 9-5. I was looking forward to working and from what I know I will be in a good environment.

I arrived 15 minutes early. I introduce myself to other workers and at 8:59 I knock on the door that says CEO Damon. “Come in” I heard someone say then went in. I was shocked to say that the CEO was a handsome piece of hunk. “Tell me your name,” he said. I was out of my mind and just stood there so second then I cleared my throat and said “Sofia Monti”. He looked at me for a second and called the person Lali. so I know that she is quitting and I am replacing her.

I was a fast learner or so of what Lali said. She was impressed by how quickly I got used to the new environment and today was her last day. She taught me how to do everything from the basics such as making coffee for the big boss AKA CEO Damon. The CEO and only meet when he calls for Lali which is every single f*****g hour. He really cannot do anything without Lila so I am a little worried about how I will be able to work for him. Today was Friday so I and some employees went and celebrated with Lali on her journey.
