He was a small clown, actually a baby. There were a number of differences that set him apart from real babies: He could juggle three bright red rubber balls all at the same time, tossing them high into the air and then moving them from hand-to-hand like he knew exactly what he was doing, which of course he did! It was quite a show for one so young, because none of the other newly made clowns could even approach such skill. But, as mentioned, he was only a baby clown so this juggling act caused a certain amount of concern among the adult clowns who supervised the clown factory, because they couldn't quite figure him out.
