CHAPTER TWO

Serena's POV

I untangled myself from Freya's body,I stood up and combed my hair backwards with my fingers.

I had to go to our clan's shipment deck to talk things out with our sailor and our goods.

It had to be me,if it wasn't, he wouldn't handle it with much care.

I walked into the bathroom and had my bath,then I went to my closet. I selected the clothes I want to wear;a two piece vintage shirt and trousers.

I heard Freya murmur in her sleep and tossed around the bed.

I smiled as I watched her use her hands to find me on the bed.

“I'm right here,love.” I said and walked up to her and planted a kiss on her forehead.

“You're up early. Oh the shipment.” Freya said and quickly stood up from the bed and headed for the bathroom.

I pulled her back by her arm.

“I'm going alone.” I said and playfully flicked her n****e.

“B…but I'm supposed to accompany you.” She murmured.

“I know but I need you to stay here and keep an eye on my uncle.” I said and played her shoulders lightly.

“Okay.” She pouted and laid back down on the bed.

As I buttoned the last button on my shirt,I turned again to Freya and she was asleep. I kissed her forehead and walked out.

I wanted to see my uncle before I left,but I changed my mind and got into my car and drove off to the harbour.

AT THE CALDERÒN HARBOUR

“ Ahh Miss Serena,what a pleasure.” The sailor said the moment he sighted me.

“Mr Fleck,how are you?” I asked and jumped into the ship.

“I am very well and you Miss?” He replied and asked back.

“I am good too.” I replied and c****d my head. “But you know what happens,when something goes wrong with my goods.” I added and stood up from the crate I was sitting on.

“Ma'am be rest assured that the goods are in safe hands,I'll have them delivered as soon as possible.” He assured me.

I stood up and slid my left hand into my left pocket and strode out.

Outside the harbour,I pulled out my phone from the other pocket and called our clients.

“You will be getting your delivery by 2:30pm today.” I said.

“It better arrive early,I don't want to wait long.” The man said over the phone and hung up.

I rolled my eyes at the man's act of disrespect and his rudeness,I scoffed and entered back into the car.

While passing back on my way home,I saw an ice cream store and I instantly thought of Freya.

I pulled over in front of the store and got her,her favorite ice.

I held the nylon bag carefully and started striding to where my car was parked,when an old woman's scream tore across the street. Some crazed guy had just stolen her purse.

I folded my sleeves and began chasing the boy,I eventually caught him. I was breathless and kind of tired.

I got the purse back and shunned the boy before letting him go.

I returned the purse and I walked back to my car.

“I can't have just one day, can I?” I muttered and ruffled my hair.

CALÉDRON CLAN

I walked back into my suite and I met Freya laying naked on the bed asleep and her pink vibrator next to her.

“What is my uncle up to again…well I should just be expecting him to call me at the crack of dawn tomorrow.” I shrugged.

“I did too.” I muttered from the bathroom.

I came out and met Freya removing the sheets.

DON ROBERTO SUITE

I walked into my uncle's suite and breathed a sigh of relief. The harsh smell of his tobacco hit my nose and it filled every corner of the room.

“Uncle Roberto?”

“Ohh in here darling.” He replied from his bath tub.

I walked in and saw him take a drag from his tobacco pipe whilst several maids massaged him.

“I suggest you add as many clothes as possible,you are going to be there for at least four months maximum.” He said and gestured for a refill in his wine. “The apartment you will be staying in has been arranged for you,once you get there a driver will take you there.”

“Four months?” I asked and widened my eyes.

“Yes.. four months,there's nothing much to miss here,it's not like you have a husband and kids here.

“Okay,I'll tell my assistant to pack her things too.” I said and turned to leave again.

“No..she can't go with you…just you alone.” He said.

“But….”

“No buts….rumors are going round that you both might be engaging in some s****l activities,but I trust you…you're not lesbian….or are you?”

“No …no way Uncle Roberto.”

“Good,I'll see you off tomorrow then.”

“Yeah.” I said and walked out of his room.

As soon as I got out,I heaved a sigh of relief and ruffled my hair.

“Rumours about us….some mouths have been running wild,and they need to be taken care of.” I said and walked to my room.
