Lucien's POV I stood at my balcony, watching as Rowan drove Davina and Lorraine in. Lorraine had somehow managed to convince Davina to go shopping with her, and she dragged Rowan along. My wolf pranced in excitement, as she stepped out of the car, even though there was no smile on that beautiful face of hers. That was the thing with our wolf counterparts. They didn't give a f**k about our grudge or even if we both ended each other's bloodline. They just want their mate. End of story. Before finding out Davina was my mate, I had a hard time getting her off my head. But now, now she was a torment. There was always this need— primal and raw— to to go her and make sure she was okay.
