You'd think being a new Alpha, my biggest challenges would be things like getting my people to trust and understand me, protecting them, providing and forging alliances. But here I was, with thoughts of Davina keeping me restless.
After our encounter this morning, I haven't seen her. She was most likely avoiding me, and to some extent, I appreciated it. At least, I would be able to think without the sight of her obstructing my sense of reasoning.
I had called off my wedding with Raine. Naturally, I was supposed to start chasing Davina. She was the reason I called off the wedding after all, and she was my mate.
