Lucien's POV I couldn't seem to concentrate on the reason I came here, or even care to bond with the other Alphas. My attention was on the little crack fire now sitting on the sofa by the corner of the room. She looked lost, like she was thinking of something she could not afford to be distracted from. Now that she was sitting still and not calling me every unprintable name, I took the time to examine her features. She was the same, but somehow, a lot different from who she was before the wedding and her father's death.
